Our utmost concern is to assure our users that any data collected through our application, I-Muse, will be treated with strict confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties, including our project partners. We also guarantee that the collected data will not be merged with any other data without the explicit consent of the user. We recognize the significance of safeguarding our users’ data and are fully dedicated to protecting their privacy. However, please be aware that we cannot be held accountable for any unforeseen data breaches. By using our application, I-Muse, you acknowledge and agree to our data privacy policy. During your usage of the Application, we collect “Geolocation Data.” This data may include Location Data, which can be either accurate or inaccurate. Accurate Location Data refers to GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System, e.g., GPS data) Data, as well as data that identifies the nearest Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth hotspots. Such data is communicated when you enable location-based products or features. The application explicitly asks for location authorization for the purposes explained here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of collecting location data is to send users notifications when they approach museums and artworks featured in I-Muse. This feature enhances the museum tour experience by providing a more immersive engagement. If users desire to receive specific information about visited museums or artworks even when the application is not in use, they have the option to grant permission for background location access. This allows them to receive relevant notifications and information even when the application is not actively being used. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
